Uganda Cranes’ striker Goeffrey Massa could confirm his probable departure from his current club Bloemfontein Celtic in a few days after talks to sign him intensified.
Baroka FC is the side interested in the services of the Ugandan star and could be snapped up as early as next week according to Kick Off.
Bakgaga’s chief executive officer Morgan Mamilla says they are in talks to sign the 30-year-old amidst concerns whether he will stay at the club for the next season.
“We are still busy with negotiations, but by Monday everything will be fine. We are still sorting out the issue of Celtic [payout] and the boy but it looks good so far,” Mamilla told Kick Off.
Massa seems to have been washed out of coach Serame Letsoaka’s plans for next season after only playing eight games [seven league starts, five subs] and scoring two goals last term.
The ex-Police and El Masry centre forward is a long term target for the club and could very instrumental to the side that gained promotion to the top tier of the Absa Premiership recently.
