Kitata reads the line in a previous event
Having played against established professionals like Jordan Elsen and Patrick Rada, Kitata has the impetus and has atleast learnt a lot as regards preparation for big tournament.
Although he failed to make the cut for the national qualifiers at the Lake Merced Golf & Country Club in California, Kitata believes the competition and experience drawn will play a big role at the Ugandan event.
I have learnt a lot from the U.S. Competition is always tight with different players paying keen attention to small details that eventually win the day.

The 116th U.S. Open drew 9877 participants and it was held at the par-70 Oakmont Country Club in Plum, Pennsylvania.
The Uganda Open professional category tees off on the 30th August 2016 at the Par 72 Uganda Golf Club in Kampala.
