Uganda Cup winners Vipers maybe without strikers Erisa Sekisambu and Tony Odur for next weekend’s FUFA Super Cup with the two reported to be off for pad ranks in Lebanon.

Unconfirmed reports indicate the duo flew out on Sunday evening and are likely to seal moves to Al Ahed.

Odur penned a two year deal with the Venoms on Friday and was set to be unveiled on Monday but all that is on hold now.

A source at the club that preferred clandestineness revealed to Kawowo Sports.

The two maybe on the plane at the moment. For Ssekisambu, the deal is 80% done but am not sure of Odur.

The source further exposed that Odur’s move to Vipers had a business sense behind it. “As of now, he is a Vipers player but only if the Lebanon deal fails. If he passes, it will be the club to determine his fee.”

Esenu, Wasswa and Olaki targeted

In case the duo leave, no doubt, a vacuum in attack will be created but the club already have set sight on three players.

Striker Musa Esenu who plies his trade with Soana heads the list of targets with ex-KCCA and SC Villa forward Herman Wasswa and Francis Olaki also targeted.

The ambition is to have at least one of them at Kitende before the FUFA Super Cup tie against league champions KCCA.
