Two games, two draws and four goals were registered on day one at the inaugural Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo.
In the first match on the day, KCCA drew 1-1 with Soana before the latter won 4-3 on penalties.
The Kasasiro had unfamiliar faces in their line up with ex-SC Villa Captain Isaac Kirabira and left back Isaac Muleme who is subject of transfer saga also featuring for the club.
In the second game, it was the same tale as Proline and Lweza also played to a similar result in 90 minutes before Lweza won the shootout 4-3.
Proline’s squad had among others ex-URA midfielder Saidi Kyeyune, Sula Matovu Malouda and Ivan Bukenya.
The tournament climaxes on Sunday with Soana playing Lweza at 2pm while KCCA and Proline end the day.
