Bul 0-0 Proline
Mujib Kasule’s first competitive game since his return to the dugout ended in a stalemate as his newly promoted Proline side played to a goalless draw against Bul FC.
The home side had a strong start and had the lion’s share of possession in the first half but failed to undo their opponents.
Frank Video Anyau’s Bul continued to threaten in the early stages but proline managed to soak up pressure and eventually had a better second half.
The newly promoted side found momentum to match their opponents and were seemingly in no mood to simply throw away the three points like they did two years ago when they lost 2-0 at the same ground.
It was a valuable point and a clean sheet for both managers who will now turn their attention to Tuesday fixtures.
Bul play URA next at Mehta Stadium, Lugazi on Tuesday while Proline takes on Express who came from behind to beat Lweza 2-1 in their league opener at Wankuluku Stadium.
