Vipers’ newly acquired center forward, Tonny Odur has returned from Lebanon.

“He is back in the country and ready for Vipers business” head of media and communication at Vipers, Kenneth Muwanga confirmed to Kawowo Sports.

The diminutive though intelligent player had traveled for trials  together with Erisa Ssekisambu, Saidi Kyeyune and last season’s top scorer, Robert Sentongo.

They were later joined by midfielder Hassan Wasswa Mawanda a week later.

Sources in Lebanon indicate that all the players were engaged in different try outs with several clubs and discussions have been going on silently.

Odur’s return means he will not be part of the arrangement anymore in Lebanon as he has since rejoined Vipers.

A day before he left for Lebanon, Odur completed a switch from Express as a free agent.

At Vipers, he joins another new signing Musa Esenu (from Soana) and last season’s revelation, Pius ‘Muzei’ Wangi.

Odur is expected to play in Vipers next game against Police at Nakivubo stadium this Tuesday.
