Uganda Cranes midfielder Tonny Mawejje has described the game against Kenya as a good test ahead of the must win tie against Comoros.

The Iceland based midfielder who is expected to jet into the country hours to the Harambee Stars duel is also excited at the possible duel with Tottenham midfield enforcer, Victor Wanyama.

“It will be great playing against him again,” Mawejje told Daily Monitor.  “He is a very good player and together with Kenya, they are good opposition. They will give us a good test before Comoros.”

Against Comoros, all Uganda need is a victory to reach the final showpiece of African football and Mawejje, who has been with the Cranes since 2003 and featured in all those failed campaigns believes no failing this time round.

“This gives us confidence because it shows how we have shortened our journey from years to 90mins. However, it has happened before and our best wasn’t enough to make us break through, but trust me this time. We gonna break walls if need be.”

Mawejje was part of the team that drew goalless with Kenya in 2011 to miss out on the 2012 finals hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
