Makerere 2-0 Kyambogo
Joshua Lubwama scored a brace in Makerere University’s 2-0 victory over Kyambogo in the first leg of the University Football League quarter final played at the Prisons Grounds, Luzira.
This was the opening match of the quarter-final stage for the 6th edition of the tourney that has been played since 2011.
Meanwhile, Uganda Martyrs University host Uganda Christian University (UCU) at their Nkozi campus.
UCU’s coach Jackon Nyiima has so much respect for UMU and predicts a tough match;
Nkozi are last year’s losing finalists and a team that have evolved well. We respect them and predict a tough game.
Last edition’s winners, MUBS were eliminated at the group stages.
