Legendary driver Moses Lumala will make a brief return to the cockpit during the KCCA Carnival Street Race set for Sunday morning.
Lumala has not been involved in Motor Rally activities for the last 11 years.
He returns to the cockpit with a trending Mitsubishi Evo X formerly of Nasser Mutebi.
“I was asked by the organisers to drive the route opener on Sunday. And this could pave my way to my return,” says Lumala.
He will have his daughter Mina Lumala in the co-driver’s seat.
Meanwhile, over 20 cars are expected to take on the street race that will start from Hotel Africana through parts of Kampala streets.
