The FUFA Big League once again takes center stage with six matches across the country on Thursday, 6th October 2016.

Busia Fisheries Football Club were early birds in Arua Municipality to acclimatize to the conditions ahead of their Thursday encounter with Doves All Stars.

The Eastern Uganda side traveled over 500km on Tuesday and arrived Wednesday morning.

According to the club Chief Executive Officer, Ivan George Wamalwa, they needed to arrive early and settle in as fast as possible;

We did not want to take chances. That is why we traveled early to arrest fatigue effects and get used to the Arua weather as well

At the moment, Busia Fisheries is third with seven points and maximum points against debutants, Doves All Stars will guarantee them the summit slot of the Elgon Group.

The onus for Busia Fisheries to overcome a resilient Doves side will reply on the sharp scoring forward Malanga Ndjidu, who has so far scored five goals.

Other players expected to play in Arua are Nelson Drani, Hassan Mango, former BUL midfielder Joshua Masene, former SC Villa and SCVU player Emmanuel Balyejusa as well as the goalkeeper Patrick Wafula.

Mango scored the equalizer for Busia Fisheries in the one all draw against Bright Light last week in Busia.

Other Elgon fixtures on the day will see Artland-Katale Kamuli park play host to Kira United as Maroons will play Moroto United in Moroto.
