AFCON 2017: 14 January – 5 February

Libreville, Franceville, Oyem and Port Gentil Cities

During the 2017 Total Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Uganda Cranes will be based on the Atlantic Ocean coastal town of Port Gentil, about 150KM south of the capital, Libreville.

The Cranes will be accommodated in the lavish Hotel Du Parc, the same hotel with Ghana Black Stars.

Group A will be based in the Gabon capital, Libreville, Group B in Franceville, Group C in Oyem with Port Gentil hosting the teams in Group D.

Uganda Cranes will play Ghana on 17th January 2017.

Then on 21st, the Cranes will face Egypt before playing Mali in the last group game on the 25th January 2017.

The first two matches will be played in Port Gentil and the final group game in Oyem.
