Uganda’s Pool Association of Uganda (PAU) seed one and Africa’s sixth seed Amos Ndyagumanawe won’t be part of the Pool Cranes’ team at the All Africa Pool Championship starting on November 1 in Kampala.

Ndyagumanawe was thrown out of the team after apparently insulting head coach Bob Minani during the Saturday training session at Lumas Pool Arena.

“Yes it’s true Amos (Ndyagumanawe) is no longer part of the team,” confirmed PAU publicist Micheal Mawanda.

“The team was training today but the boy (Ndyagumanawe) came in to train, received a tracksuit and didn’t put it on. When the coach called him he insulted him. So the technical committee made a decision to take him off the team,” Mawanda added.

The 2015 National Pool Open champion will be replaced with sensational 18 year old Harzard Lukoma.

South Africa are the defending champions and together with Botswana, Zambia, Kenya, Lesotho, Swaziland, Uganda and Tanzania have all confirmed participation in the 2016 event.
