A total of 19 goals were scored over the 10 FUFA Big League matches played on Thursday and Friday in both the Rwenzori and Elgon groups.
Nine of the goals came in the Elgon groups and ten in the Rwenzori group.
There were only two victories apiece per group with Arua based Doves All Stars winning away to Moroto United 2-1 and Kira United’s 1-0 win over Kyambogo (Elgon).
Water defeated Synergy 1-0 at Kibuli S.S play ground and Kireka United were one nil winners against Sun City from Kasese at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
The rest of the matches ended in different scoring stalemates.
Baza Holdings and Mbarara City played to a one all draw at Kawempe Muslim S.S play ground.
Hopes Doves and Mbale’s Kataka shared the spoils in a four goal thriller at Wankulukuku stadium.
In the battle of two newly promoted sides Airtel Kitara and Nyamityobora at Boma ground in Hoima, the affair ended one all with Billy Herbert ‘Counsel’ Alinda on target for the Hoima side.
This was Alinda’s fourth goal of the campaign in five matches that the UCU law student has featured in this term.
Artland Kamuli Park held high flying Maroons to one all draw in Kamuli as Ndejje University played to yet another scoring one all draw with visiting Simba at the Ndejje University main campus play ground in Luwero.
The league returns next Thursday with a host of games.
