Soana head coach, Sam Ssimbwa has said Dan Wagaluka will not play for the Kavumba side while he is still coach after the winger ‘disobeyed’ the coach’s orders on Friday in their game against Proline at the Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

The winger was told to warm up and prepare to come on as a substitute, but seeing he was not picked up the first time Ssimbwa called out for a change, Wagaluka ignored his boss’ instructions, which left the former KCCA tactician bitter.

“He is not going to play for Soana again,” Ssimbwa assured. “He refused to warm when I told him to, now let’s see what happens. He disobeyed my orders.”

Ssimbwa went on to reveal why his side is performing well in the league.

“What I have brought into this Soana side is discipline. That’s why you’re seeing these good results. We cannot continue with such players if we still want to do well.”

Soana came from a goal down to beat Proline 2-1 through Allan Kayiwa and Frank Kalanda who both scored in the first 45 minutes of the game.

They take on Jinja side, Sadolin Paints tomorrow at Kavumba Recreational Ground looking to maintain their good run.

Soana are placed fourth in the league with 20 points, five behind leaders KCCA.
