Mbarara based FUFA Big league club Nyamityobora won 1-0 against visiting Water at the Nyamityobora play ground on Thursday.
Abdallah Bajope scored a second half penalty for the home team as they maintain the top summit grip at the Rwenzori group with a goal difference advantage over Masavu.
Masavu also won 2-1 at their Katabi Sandy fotress over Hope Doves.
A rare Lawrence Bakirenze header and Kenneth Tumusiime’s goals won the day for Masavu.
Moses Okot netted the consolation for Hope Doves after a handball by Masavu left back Hakim Ssekitto.

In Bugonga, Entebbe football club required a penalty by Mande and prodigal son Abdul Hussein.
At the Nyakasanga play ground in Kasese, Sun City returned to winning ways, defeating Boma Young 1-0.
Simba defeated Artland Katale 2-1 at the Mashariki High school play ground, off Entebbe road whilst Kataka lost 2-0 to visiting Bazza Holdings at Mbale Municipal Stadium.
In the only Elgon group game played, newly promoted Arua side Bright Light pipped visiting Sporting United 1-0 at the Barifa play ground.
The FUFA Big league returns on Friday with one game when Mbarara City host Kireka United at Kakyeeka Stadium.
