Wasswa Bbosa is being lined up by Soana as successor to Sam Ssimbwa in case the latter leaves for Express.

On Tuesday, Bbosa left Express after six consecutive games without victory and reports the following day suggested that the Red eagles were eyeing the Soana coach as their new coach.

Amidst all rumours, Soana boss Obed Smart made it clear Ssimbwa, who signed a two year deal with the club as recent as September was still contracted.

“Whoever wants Ssimbwa must know he is contracted with us,” said Obed. “They should know who is boss,” he added.

Soana, who are 4th on the Uganda Premier League log with 20 points after 12 games have so far had two coaches in the season with Charles Ayiekoh replaced by Ssimbwa after just a single game.

Other Bbosa offers

Besides Soana, there are reports that two top tier sides have also asked about the availability of the former Express midfielder who was part of the Red Eagles’ coaching staff when they won the 2011/12 league title.

Among the interested suitors Kawowo has learnt include Bul and SC Villa.
