Buffaloes – Mongers last Premiership match had ended in a stalemate before the close of the season

Buffaloes captain Charles Uhuru believes the outfit will make a comeback ahead of match day two of the Rugby Premiership.

The Kyadondo based side lost to Mongers 07-35 on Saturday courtesy of tries from Joseph Bulago, John Wandicho and Adrian Wasswa.

Buffaloes seemed to struggle due to a number of senior players absent due to intense preparation for the HSBC World Series and Uhuru felt the side needed another week to perform.

Speaking after the match, the skipper said: “Game was a bit hard. We’ll train hard and come back next week.

About Buffaloes slipping because they were depleted, he added: “There is nothing do about the players absent. We’ll come back stronger.”
