[/media-credit] Action from Kobs vs Heathens.

Kobs found the going tough against Sadolin Mongers but did just enough to get 4 points from the game.

Missing a number of players, the home side started well scoring in the first 5 minutes of the game before fading along the way.

Most of the action was in the Kobs’ half for the bigger share of the first half until Brian Asaba intercepted to set up Derrick Tukwasibwe in the left hand corner.

Joseph Aredo, who played at 10, failed to convert but made no mistake with the third try of the game.

The introduction of Simon Wakabi for Mongers in the second half had the Entebbe side pushing the defending champions to do most of the defending.

The former Kobs winger scored Mongers only try with a chip over the defence line before showing winger Emanuel Ecodu a good pair of heels to cross the white chalk.

Adrian Wasswa, who had earlier fluffed a penalty, added the extras before converting a penalty later on.

For Kobs, who didn’t have a lot of the possession, they only had to rely on the mistakes made by the visitors.

The third try also came from an interception by winger Keith Sseruyange who dashed from the center line to touch down early in the second 40 minutes.

Kobs chase for a bonus point were futile on a day rivals Heathens registered an emphatic 53-05 win over Makerere Impis at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds to go top of the log.

Rhinos registered their second win of the season as they thumped Toyota Buffaloes 38-03 in the last game at Legends. Makerere Rams ran over Gulu Elephants with a 30-05 win at the Graveyard in Makerere.
