Kampala International University (KIU) and defending champions, Nkumba Select were the biggest winners as the Pepsi National Beach Soccer League resumed on Sunday at Lido Beach in Entebbe.

Nkumba Select overcame Talented 8-5 in a 13 goal show down of the Hurriken Group to amass 9 points, three points behind second placed Mutesa I Royal University who overcame IUEA 3-0 and six behind the leaders YMCA.

YMCA defeated Dalumba International 3-0 on the day.

In the Moonson Group, KIU humiliated MS Sand Lions 7-1 in a one sided encounter.

Despite the massive win, KIU remains second on the log behind leaders St. Lawrence University who registered a 3-0 result against Kayunga Town Council.

Stormers overcame Mengo Hospital 6-3 in another goal laden fixture.

The league will return next weekend.
