With the top flight league clubs out of action for much of previous 10 or so days due to the international break, their respective junior sides were kept engaged.
On Sunday, KCCA Soccer Academy overcame Uganda Revenue Authority Junior team 2-1 at Lugogo.
The victory consolidates the young KCCA team’s lead on the table.
Lweza Orange Brigades were the biggest winners on the day, registering a 4-0 victory against JMC Hippos at Kajjansi.
Onduparaka Junior team pipped Police 1-0 in Arua and The Saints won 2-0 away at Express.
Kirinya-Jinja S.S also won away from home at Bright Stars, triumphing 2-1 on the day,
There were two 1-1 draws. Sadolin Paints with Bul in the Junior derby as well as SC Villa Jogoo Junior team against Soana Junior team.
The Junior League will return on Tuesday when Onduparaka hosts Vipers in the curtain raiser game to the main match at the Green Light stadium.
