Kenya Vs Liberia – Safaricom Stadium, Nairobi

Kenya Harambee Stars will play Liberia in an international friendly match on Tuesday afternoon at the Safaricom Stadium in Nairobi.
The fixture comes after both countries have met three times with Harambee Stars emerging victorious on two occasions and one draw.
Kenya won 1-0 on aggregate during a World Cup qualifier played in 1989.
The first leg played in Monrovia in January had ended goalless with the East African side winning the return leg 1-0 in August 2016.
Kenyan coach Stanley Okumbi will give chance to players who are missed against Mozambique.
Allan Wanga and Ayumb Timbe will be at the coach’s disposal in his push to get good results against the West Africans.
On the other hand, Liberia head coach James Salinsa Debbah will give chance to Spanish based Joel Johnson and former Manchester City striker Alex Nimely expected to play a key role in the attack.
Okumbi has only tasted defeat twice, had four draws and registered 3 victories since taking over the job from Bobby Williamson.
Kenya is preparing for CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup (should the tournament be held) as well as preparations for AFCON 2019 qualifiers that start later in 2017.
Kenya will also host the CHAN 2018 tournament.
CHAN is a championship played only by the locally based players in the respective domestic leagues on the African continent.
