Kampala University head coach Vincent ‘Titi Camara Box to Box’ Tumusiime has the confidence of repeating the 2013 heroics.
Getting to the finals this season has not been an accident.
Last season when we were knocked out in the group stages was very painful for us and we had to go back to the drawing board.
This season we were very focused and disciplined which is why we are here today
Nkumba is a good team and we are not going to take them for granted. However, we have beaten them before including earlier this season and I am sure we shall do the same on Saturday and lift the trophy
His counter part at Nkumba, Patrick Sebuliba notes it is patience that will reward his side on Saturday;
As I have said before, this is our season. We have been patient for 5 seasons but now we cannot wait any longer.
Nkumba and Kampala University are the two best teams this season and between the two of us, Nkumba is the better side
I think it’s going to be an exciting game. KU likes to play passing football whilst we are more adaptive.
I think fans can expect a spectacular display of football from both of us and at the end of the game, Nkumba will lift the trophy because this is our time.

Key pillars:
Nkumba
Nkumba University will dwell on the experience of former KKL and Aurum Roses talented left footed winger Martin Sseruwagi for leadership and inspiration.
Sseruwagi has scored key goals for Nkumba University via set pieces and has also offered decent assists to the strikers.
Team skipper Emmanuel Wasswa, a former Vipers Sports Club center forward is another player Nkumba will look to.
The other Nkumba University key players are goalkeeper Joseph Yiga, defenders Moses Etengu and Allan ‘Back’ Katwe.
Kampala University:
Jackson Mugoya and Fibele Muyamana are two potential weapons of mass destruction for team Kampala University as the Gaba based institution target their second crown in three years.
Their tactician Tumusiime, fresh from a UEFA grass roots course in Slovakia is no doubt a perfect choice when it comes to situational analysis, tactical and technical plan for the opposition side.
In the third place playoff, Makerere University will take on Uganda Martyrs University at 1 p.m, a fixture that will determine the third best team for the Shs.1M cash prize.
The losing side in the third place play off match will take home Shs.0.5M.
2015 winners, MUBS await their pay of Shs0.5M among the teams ranked 4th to 12th after failure to qualify from the group stages.
The league, one of the most supported in the country has been a fertile ground to identify and nurture raw talents who later graduate to the other football plat forms.
