Uganda Premier League debutants Onduparaka will on Monday 28th, November play against a Congolese club Dragon FC in a club friendly at the Green Light Stadium, Arua, the head coach has revealed.
With the domestic league off until next month, clubs have organized various friendlies matches in a bid to maintain their sides’ competitive and fitness levels.
Onduparaka is no exception. Speaking to Kawowo Sports, Leo Adraa revealed that his side will welcome Dragon FC to their home ground next week.
He said: “We can’t afford to misuse this time. It’s a long break which could affect our performance so we have organized three friendlies including one against Dragon FC, a team from Congo. We hope these games help us maintain our shape both physically and in the mind.”
Adraa takes his charges to Nebbi for a friendly game against Hot Springs on Wednesday, before welcoming a FUFA Big League side Paidha Black Angels on Saturday.
Onduparaka return to league action on Saturday 3rd December against The Saints at Bombo play ground.
The side currently lies fifth in the league with 18 points.
