New Vision Deputy sports sub-editor Sabiiti Muwanga has been voted unopposed as the President of the Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA) for two year.

The incumbent, Muwanga was voted once again hustle free following the 11th hour withdrawal of his challenger, Leon Ssenyange who cited ‘a biased and unfair democratic process’.

During the sports body’s elective assembly held on Saturday at the City Tyres main hall, the election part was supervised by the National Council of Sports (NCS) Assistant General Secretary, David Semakula Katende.

I vow to take USPA to another level in my second term as USPA President. I will continue to appeal to the USPA fratenity to exercise professionalism.
