Baroka 1-1 Orlando Pirates

Baroka Football Club scored at the death to force a 1-1 draw with Orlando Pirates at the New Peter Mokaba stadium on Wednesday evening.

Justice Chabalala scored the opener before goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke netted deep in injury time with an acrobatic shot to ensure the two sides share the spoils.

Chabalala’s strike arrived three minutes into the second half as the opening 45 minutes produced no goal.

Uganda Cranes’ captain, Goffrey Massa started the game for Baroka and had a chance at goal in the opening minutes.

Zimbabwean striker, Tendai Ndoro had the best chance of the half for Orlando Pirates when he successfully rounded goalie Masuluke but shot too far of goal.

The game looked destined for a 1-0 result for the visitors but Masuluke had other thoughts altogether.

The goalkeeper left his department, headed for the opposition goal area and volleyed home with an overhead kick to the amusement of the home crowd.

Massa played for only 58 minutes before he was replaced by Cleopous Dube. The other Ugandan, Khalid Aucho was an un-used substitute.

Baroka’s next game will still be at home against Maritzburg United on Sunday, 4th December 2016.

A day before, Orlando Pirates will have hosted Highland Parks.
