Boost for Airtel-Kitara

Striker, Billy Herbert Alinda is back after sitting out  against Kataka. Alinda, a law student at UCU Campus in Mukono had picked a knock in the club’s previous trip to Nyamityobora in Mbarara.

However they will miss play make Bula Mupenge who is sidelined with malaria.

For the home team who have lost their two previous friendly matches to Lweza and URA, they have no injury concern and will be excited that Ddumba Sadala is fully recovering from a knee injury.

“The boys are in shape and determined to close the gap on Masavu,” Airtel Kitara official, Joshua Atugonza remarks.

His counterpart at Masavu, Allan Kabonge believes the losses to two Premier League sides further helped him access the team’s mental and physical preparedness ahead of the next Big League battle.

“We are not demoralized. The losses to Lweza and URA only give us hope that we are a better side since those two clubs struggled to be us,” Kabonge, who has been nominated for coach of the year adds.

There will be a couple of many games to be played across the country in both the Elgon and Rwenzori groups.

Kataka, fresh from Hoima will host Water at the Mbale Municipal Stadium.

Elgon Group leaders Maroons make that short trip to Kyambogo and Mbarara City is at home to the free passing side, Synergy at Kakyeeka stadium in Mbarara.

FUFA confirmed the postponement of the Sun City versus Nyamityobora game after rampant insecurity in Kasese District.
