Saturday, 3rd December: Cameroon Vs Nigeria – Limbe (Final)
Holders of the Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON), Nigeria will play against hosts Cameroon in the final of the 2016 edition on Saturday.
Nigerian overcame South Africa 1-0 in the semi-final clash on Tuesday in Limbe with striker Desire Oparanozie scoring the only goal of the match on 54 minutes.
The other semi final had witnessed hosts Cameroon pip Ghana 1-0.
Midfielder Raissa Feudjio scored the only goal of the match on 71 minutes for the ‘Les Lionnes’.
This will be a repeat of the 2014 final in Windhoek, Namibia, which Nigeria won 2-0 for their seventh title.
South Africa will take on Ghana for bronze in the third place match on Friday in Yaounde.
