Without question, Uganda Cranes’ crafty winger Moses ‘Beast’ Oloya is a darling in Vietnam.

Five months ago, he left the country for greener and murky pastures in the Russian Football National League.

Vietnam Premier League club Ha Noi T & T has lured Oloya on a season long deal from Russian club, Kuban Krasnodar.

The 24 year midfielder returns to Vietnam after a spell in the Russian Football National League with Kuban Krasnodar, a club he joined on 14th July 2016.

Ruban Krasnodar had forked a hefty $400,000 sign on fee to acquire the services of the gifted player, who was also part of the Uganda Cranes team that qualified to the AFCON for the first time in over 38 years.

Oloya happy to be back:

Formerly at Becamex Binh Doung, Oloya expressed his delight upon joining Na Noi T & T;

Ha Noi T & T is the perfect choice for me to achieve everything I want in my career. I will try my best to help the team continued success in the domestic arena and advanced as far as possible in the playground continent.

Already a ‘saint’ at the club as manifested by the fans’ reaction, fellow players’ warm embrace and head coach Chu Dinh Nghiem’s welcome remarks, Oloya is destined for the best times ahead once again in Vietnam.

Nghiem remarked;

Moses (Oloya) will be one of the most important players in the rows in the near future.

With the possession of foreign soldiers had been rated as the best V-League, the team’s strength will be increased capital significantly in order to meet and conquer these ambitious goals.

Hanoi T & T tries, efforts to improve the image of football in Vietnam in the international arena to come.

Hopefully the quality rookie season transfer window will help the club to realize this.

He joins another Ugandan, Geofrey ‘Baba’ Kizito who plays at Quang Nam.

Recently, Uganda Premier League club, SC Villa Jogoo had a successful tour of Vietnam where they played seven games in 10 days winning three, drawing and losing twice.
