Kolkata based professional club – East Bengal has announced the signing of Ugandan footballer Ivan Bukenya till the end of the season.
The current holders of the Calcutta Football League, revealed the development on Sunday ahead the new I League season early next year.

Bukenya, who last turned out for South African side Kaizer Chiefs, had played against East Bengal in Kolkata in an AFC Cup match in 2012 for Arbil SC of Iraq.
The I-League is expected to kick-off on 7th January, 2017 and by then Bukenya should have acclimatized to conditions at the club.
The ex-Proline defender signed a two-year renewable deal after impressing Coach Stuart Baxter on a two weeks trial at Kaizer Chiefs two years ago.
