A wonder piece of skill from parliamentarian Ali Brian Nato when he rounded off Kenyan goalie Kanini Kega in style before slotting the ball in an empty net gave Uganda Parliamentary men’s team the  full bragging rights when they won their Monday game 1-0 at the Mombasa County play ground.

Nato scored with the very last piece of action in the 70 minutes long game in a lively match where Kenya enjoyed the lion’s share of ball possession.

Isaac Meeli and Dan Wanyama missed several goal scoring opportunities for the host team.

Makindye West Member of Parliament, Allan ‘Bwiino’ Ssewanyana, also the shadow sports minister captained the Ugandan side, which has won the tournament for a record four times.

This was day two of the 2016 East Africa Community Inter-Parliamentary Games where Uganda also won in volleyball men (2 sets to nil) and got a walk over Kenya.

Uganda lost to Kenyan women in Volleyball.

Action continues on Tuesday with Golf at the picturesque Nyali Golf Club.

In Football, Uganda plays Tanzania as Kenya takes on Burundi.
