Friday December 9, 2016 Soana Vs Vipers – Kavumba Recreation Grounds @ 4pm

Struggling Vipers make a short trip to Kavumba Recreation to face Soana and they will hope their decent record against the Kavumba side stays still.

The two-time league winners, now on a four match winless streak have won three and drawn once in the four league meetings between the sides but must wary of the threat posed by Sam Ssimbwa’s side.

Fifth on the log with 21 points, Vipers are now eleven points behind leaders and are fully aware that any other slip up will end even the little hopes of winning the title.

The Venoms come into the game on the back of a frustrating 1-1 draw with The Saints and will still miss the services of defender Halid Lwaliwa, midfielder Brian Kakaire and forward Erisa Ssekisambu.

For Soana, they will be eager to bounce back after the loss to Express FC at the same venue on Tuesday.

Sam Ssimbwa’s side may be without attacking midfielder Willy Kavuma for the game but Allan Kayiwa, Frank Kalanda and Dan Wagaluka are available for selection.

Soana may open up a five point gap between them and Richard Wasswa’s charges with maximum points.
