Sun City 0-4 Nyamityobora

Mbarara based football club, Nyamityobora winded up the FUFA Big League first round in style with a convincing 4-0 win against Sun City at the Nyakasanga play ground in Kasese on Tuesday.

Yusuf Abato and Faizo Muwawu gave Charles Ayiekho Lukula’s coached side the lead in the opening 45 minutes.

Kiliton Kamugisha and Shafik Kakembo added two other goals in the second stanza of the game to cap the icing on the cake.

Nyamityobora, who played to goalless draw with Mbarara City in the Mbarara derby complete the first round on a sound note as they close the gap on Rwenzori Group leaders, Masavu to just five points.

Nyamityobora has 22 points, five behind Masavu on 27.

Meanwhile, Maroons still lead the Elgon group.

The Big League will take a break for the festive season until early next year in 2017.

Three clubs will be promoted to the Uganda Premier League at the end of the season in May next year.
