Mahadi Kayondo is destined for a move to the Swaziland top flight league.

The 19 year old center forward cum winger is in talks with Green Mamba Football Club, also nick-named ‘Inyoka Elehlazana’.

Kayondo traveled to the Lobamba, the capital of the Southern African land locked country for initial negotiations and a series of test matches.

Talks with the Simunye based club are bound to reap dividends after Kayondo impressed the entire technical team including the head coach, Francis “Mkhulu” Banda.

A top club official who requested not to be named because the deal is not yet completed assured Kawowo Sports that the Ugandan will be signed by Christmas day.

He is a great player whom we think shall be signed after the final negotiations  are sealed.

Kayondo will be a great addition to the side for his work ethic and ball skills.

Green Mamba, which was founded in 1987 features in the top flight division in Swaziland and host their home games at the Trade Fair stadium.

They have been champions once during the 2011/12 season playing at the CAF Champions League in 2012.

David Isabirye is a senior staff writer for Kawowo Sports where he covers most of the major events.
