Pressure is mounting on St George players and head coach Mart Nooji after the Addis Ababa based club failed to win for the third time in a row during the Ethiopia Premier League.

The Ethiopian record champions were held by Sidama Coffee to a goalless draw during week six action.

The Horsemen’s long ball strategy has not yielded any good news thus far.

The Ugandan goalkeeper Robert Odongkara kept a clean sheet, thwarting several goal scoring  chances from Sidama Coffee’s Addis Gidey.

Midfielder Yasser Mugerwa replaced veteran Adane Girma in the second half.

Loyal St George fans shouted and chanted Mart Nooij to resign after the poor performance of the team in the last 3 matches.

Fans are also questioning the decision to release long serving Uganda Cranes defender Isaac ‘The hard worker’ Isinde.

St George is now level with Dedebit & Adama City on 11 points.

They however have a superior goal difference of 7 goals, Dedebit is on 5 and Adama City (3 goals)
