Lacrosse Christmas Challenge 2016:

Men final: YMCA Lacrosse 2-5 MUBS Lacrosse

Women final: Lady Sharks (YMCA) 7-3 Jinja Women

Makerere University Business School (MUBS) and Lady Sharks lacrosse teams crowned the year 2016 with success at the 3rd edition of the Lacrosse Christmas challenge.

This was the last event on the Uganda Lacrosse activity calendar which was hosted by Jinja Nile Zulus in the Eastern town of Jinja.

MUBS overcame YMCA 5-2 in a one sided final as the Lady Sharks defeated Jinja Women 7-3.

Lacrosse in Uganda is the model of lacrosse in Africa where Kenya and South Africa are the next major lacrosse hubs

A total of 8 teams (children, women and senior men) took part in the day long event.
