Uganda Cranes head coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredejovic returned to Dubai to finalize with the training camp arrangements for the national team planned for early January 2017.

Micho left the country quietly on Friday afternoon for Dubai and he is expected to return by Monday.

While in Dubai, the coach finalized and stamped the training camp as well as the facilities that the national team will use.

In an interview with Micho, the Serb duly confirmed having traveled to polish up the preparations;

Everything has been sorted and I will be present in Kampala when the national team resumes training on boxing day

Micho also watched Al Wasl humiliate Hatta 4-1 in the Arabia Gulf League.

Uganda intends to hold two different training camps in Tunisia and Dubai to shape up the national team ahead of the AFCON finals.

The Tunisia training camp will be held between 1st and 5th January 2017.

The Dubai camp will be held in Al Wasl and shall start on 6th to 11th January 2017 where the friendlies against Slovakia and Cote D’Ivoire have been confirmed on the 8th and 11th January 2017 respectively.

The match against Slovakia will be played at the Abu Dhabi military stadium while the match against Cote D’Ivoire will be held at the New York University.
