
In a rather encouraging team talk, the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) President Moses Magogo on Thursday night tasked the Uganda Cranes players to continue working hard for their respective careers.
Magogo was meeting the team players and officials at Serene Suites Hotel conference room, a day before they travel to Tunisia.
He lauded the players for the special time and effort dedicated to the national team cause ever since the training sessions for AFCON 2017 started.
I would like thank you for the hard work exhibited especially during the training sessions and the commitment shown to stay away from your respective families. I urge you to keep focused and work with commitment ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon
The Uganda Cranes return to the Africa Cup of Nations tournament after a 39 year absence since Ghana 1978.
On Friday morning, the team conducted their last training session at IUIU Girls campus ahead of the team’s departure for Tunisia and Dubai where they have organized training camps.
In Tunisia, the Uganda Cranes will play an international friendly match against Tunisia on Wednesday, 4th January 2017.
In Dubai, they face Slovakia and Cote D’Ivoire on the 8th and 11th January 2017 respectively.
