Germany sports gear manufacturer, Puma has re-designed the Ghana Black Stars jersey that will be used at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

The new shirt is primarily white with black detail.

The shirt features a black star on the top center part of the chest, inspired by the team’s nickname, Black Stars.

The shirt features a yellow-coloured triangle pattern along the sleeve ends.

Ghana Black Stars were drawn in Group D together with Mali, Egypt and Uganda.

The Black Stars open their campaign against tricky opposition, Uganda on the 17th January 2017 at the coastal Port Gentil Stadium.

Ghana have won the African competition four times, their last success being in 1982.

In the 2015 edition, they finished runners-up to Ivory Coast, after losing out 9-8 on penalties.
