Jang’ombe Boys 2-1 URA FC

Uganda’s representatives at the 2017 Mapinduzi Cup, URA FC suffered a set back when they fell 2-1 to Zanzibar side, Jang’ombe Boys on Tuesday.

The loss had followed their opening day 2-0 win over another Zanzibar out fit, KVZ on Sunday.

Labama Bogota scored the consolation to take his personal tally to three, having notched a brace earlier on.

Kefa Kisala’s charges will rest on Wednesday before resuming business on Thursday against Tanzania side Simba,

They will then wind up their group matches with another Zanzibar side Taifa ya Jang’ombe on Sunday, 8th January 2017.

Apart from the recovering winger Elukana Nkuggwa, all the other 10 players who had started for the tax collectors maintained their slots on the team.

Nicholas Kagaba replaced Nkuggwa in the starting line up.

URA is the tournament defending champion.
