Learning curve for the Uganda Cranes team considering the fact that the Tunisian team was very fast off the blocks. Tunisia mastered the set piece strategy from which they scored the two goals. Uganda has to learn how to defend such situations, lest avoid committing fouls leading to free-kick incidents around the goal area.
The ‘hostile’ chilly weather will rank among the final reasons for Uganda Cranes dismissal performance on the day.
Positives: Tonny Mawejje and Muzamiru Mutyaba book tested the Tunisia goalie as their respective efforts settled onto the goal posts. There was positional display especially in the mid-field but lack of ideas going forward.
Suspect goalkeeping however remains the grey point from the game.
Plenty of time to learn and perfect a few things ahead of the Slovakia and Cote D’Ivoire on the 8th and 11th January 2017 respectively in Dubai
