Futsal Premier Classic Cup 2017:

  • Saturday, 14th January
  • Champions Futsal Arena, Busega – Kampala
  • 9 p.m – Mid-night

It is still early days of the year 2017 but a plenty is on the plate for the Futsal fraternity.

The success from the boxing day championship where team brotherhood overcame a hard fighting Viga side left the organizers, players and fans yearning for more.

The positive development now, stands that the Futsal Association of Uganda (FAU) in conjunction with Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has organized yet another championship on Saturday, 14th January 2017 at the Champions Fustal Arena in Busega, Kampala.

Different from the other events held before, this time round the games will be played at night under the code name Futsal Premier Classic Cup.

Hamza Jjunju, the Chief Executive Officer of the Futsal Associations of Uganda (FAU) confirms the event to Kawowo Sports;

We shall have at least eight teams that have confirmed to take part in the 2017 Futsal Classic Premier Cup this Saturday at the Champions Futsal Arena in Busega. Action starts at 9 p.m until mid-night.

Some of the confirmed teams include; SK 13, Express Red Army Futsal Club, Gals Sports Betting Futsal Club, Seeta Galacticals Futsal Club, Durban Motel Futsal Club and many more are still registering.

This tournament will mark the start of the official Futsal calendar of 2017.
