Ugandan Rugby sensation Phillip Wokorach is happy to have made a move to Kenya Cup champions Kabras Sugar RFC.

Wokorach completed the paper work on Saturday and sealed the deal before the transfer window closed in Kenya.

The star – who left Monday – had just helped Heathens overcome arch-rivals Kobs, touching in the second half – as his side won 33-17.

“Am looking forward to the new challenge, and hoping the high intensity of the Kenya Cup can help me improve as a player,” he told Kawowo Sports.

Wokorach garnered praise from USA Sevens head coach Mike Friday after putting in superb shifts in Dubai and Cape Town at the HSBC World Series for the Uganda Sevens national team.

He is expected to play for Kabras Sugar when the outfit makes the trip to Mwamba RFC in the Kenya premiership on January 14.
