Uganda Cranes have been drawn in Group L of qualifiers for the Total Africa Cup of Nations 2019.

The other three countries in group L are; Tanzania, Lesotho and Cape Verde.

Two CECAFA member nations Kenya and Ethiopia are drawn in the same group, F alongside West Africans Ghana and Sierra Leone.

In arguably the group of death, Algeria will lock horns with three West Africans Togo, Benin and The Gambia in group D.

South Africa will face group E top seeds Nigeria with Libya and Seychelles.

Group G has the Congo derby between Congo Brazzaville and Congo Kinshasa with another central African, Zimbabwe and Liberia.

Magreb rivals Tunisia and Egypt will lock horns in group J with Niger and Swaziland.

The top team from each group that goes through to the tournament that will be hosted by Cameroon, as well as the three best runners-up.

On paper, Group B looks the simplest since it has the host country, Cameroon with Morocco, Malawi and the winner between Comoros and Mauritius.

Should any of Morocco, Malawi and Comoros or Mauritius lead the group, then, they will qualify alongside the 2019 hosts.

The qualifiers are expected to kick off as early as March 2019.

Group C: Mali, Gabon, Burundi, Djibouti/South Sudan

Group E: Nigeria, South Africa, Seychelles

Group F: Ghana, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Kenya

Group G: DR Congo, Congo, Zimbabwe, Liberia

Group H: Cote D’Ivoire, Guinea, Central Africa Republic, Rwanda

Group I: Burkina Faso, Angola, Botswana, Mauritania

Group J: Tunisia, Egypt, Niger, Swaziland

Group K: Zambia, Mozambique, Guinea Buissau, Nambia

Group L: Cape Verde, Uganda, Tanzania, Lesotho
