Egypt Vs Uganda – Port Gentil Stadium (8:00 p.m – Gabon, 10:00 Uganda)

World over, time immemorial, big moments and games require strong, sound and sober-minded mentalities.

Cases of the world greats failing to perform at the biggest stage where it matters a lot are numerous and well documented.

Micho cited stage freight among the many reasons for the dismissal first half performance against Ghana Black Stars at the Stade De Port Gentil.

Now the recovery process from the 1-0 loss against Ghana started moments after the game.

Speaking at the team hotel (Hotel Du Pac) in Port Gentil, Micho revealed to Kawowo Sports;

We have worked hard on every aspect of the game but stage freight is natural.

We have overcome that and players have quickly recovered.

Uganda Cranes started the journey at AFCON 2017 on a sour note when they fell to Andre Ayew’s penalty in the 31st minute of the game.

To Micho, the players mission at hand is to continue with the spirited second half performance from the Ghana match coming into the Egypt encounter.

We had a slow start in the first match but steadily made amends in the second half.

We ought to build from the second half performance and this means the match with Egypt is a continuation of the second half with Ghana.

Uganda Cranes face an uphill task in the recovery process when they take on 7 time African champion, Egypt on Saturday.

Egypt, who drew goal-less with Mali are an hungry lion eyeing for maximum points like Uganda.
