When his contract expires next month, Ghana Black Stars head coach Avram Grant intends not to renew.

Grant, 61, has already indicated he will not continue as head coach for Ghana.

The former Chelsea coach has been linked to jobs in China and Australia although he remains zipped on his next move.

I came for two years in Ghana, we extended to two years and three months because we qualified for the Nations Cup

I will always take good memories from here, but hopefully the last memory will be the best one

I am happy with what I have achieved in my career. In my life I never plan. What will happen, will happen. Let’s see.

I am looking forward myself to see what will happen

Tasked of the Black Stars’ chances for the AFCON trophy, Grant replied;

All the countries that came here (in Gabon) want to win the championship. Ghana has the class and quality to do it. We shall work hard. I know the expectations of people in Ghana.

A losing finalist at the previous tournament to Ivory Coast, Grant and the Black Stars started brightly with a 1-0 result over Uganda.

On Thursday, Grant stormed a Uganda Cranes training session at the Port Gentil Anexxe training facility, a ove that has been condemned by all.

Ghana plays Mali in their second match in Group D this Saturday.
