Kassim Kyazze, 25, a Ugandan national was voted as the best fan during the Egypt versus Uganda Cranes match in Port Gentil.

For the feat, he earned a return ticket to watch the final game of the tournament on February 5th 2017 at Stade De L’Amitie in Libreville.
A self confessed admirer for Uganda Cranes and goalkeeper Dennis Onyango, Kyazze was singled out for passionate cheering throughout the entire duration of the game.
Painted in the Black, yellow and Red Uganda national colours, all international media focused on Kyazze for the minutes they were off the thick of action during Uganda Cranes 1-0 loss to the Pharaohs.
Kyazze is excited about winning the accolade at a tournament of AFCON’s magnitude but worried he does not have the money to keep him in Gabon until the final.
Already traveled back to Uganda, Kyazze expects to return for the final;
I was so happy when I heard my name being announced in the stadium. I love football, i love Uganda Cranes and respect to all the players especially Africa’s number one – Dennis Onyango.
I seek for assistance to help me and i return for the final because I do not have the money for upkeep.
Back home, he supports Kampala Capital City Authority football club, a team that he has supported since 2001.
During every game at the AFCON 2017 finals, the match organizing committee identifies a passionate and most cheering fan that is rewarded.
With Uganda Cranes officially knocked out of the AFCON 2017 tournament, the country at least has one official representative in Kassim Kyazze come the 5th February 2017 at the incredible Stade De L’Amitie.
