Bul F.C experienced player Derrick Walulya eyes a colorful second round commencement with his Jinja based club.

In an exclusive interview with Kawowo Sports on Friday, the 28 year old rock solid defender disclosed his overwhelming ambition and determination to stage a sound second round display.
Walulya aims at a performance that will see BUL FC avoid any sort of relegation ‘politics and computations’.
We failed to get the desired results during the first round. This is one key objective we shall have to work for in the next three to four months.
Personally, as a senior player on the team, leading by example is the order of the day to the rest of the young players. We need to get the results our way so that we avoid any talk linking us to relegation.
The dread-locked hard tackler has seen all that the local football menu has had to offer with enviable league playing experience dating as far as 2006.
Having featured for elite clubs in the country as Bunamwaya (now Vipers), Simba (Uganda), Simba (Tanzania) and Uganda Revenue Authority, Walulya is well aware of the pressure that accompanies the second half of the season.
This is one time when every club needs the maximum points. At BUL, we shall also need them (maximum points) because we have the quality, morale and motivation from the sponsors, technical wing of the club and our lovely fans.
The second round is ear-marked to kick off on Tuesday, 7th February 2017 and BUL with a host of games lined up on the rooster.
Bul travels to play the current log leaders, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) at the Phillip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.
The very last time BUL played KCCA on the Lugogo Astro turf was in July 2016 during a pre-season warm up game – and the home team smiled 3-1 during the mid-morning game.

Walulya is one fear-less character with aggression of a street preacher.
He asserts, KCCA Football club commands respect for their stature and rich history but they are ready to send shock waves early the second round.
We respect KCCA F.C as a club but when we play on Tuesday, respect will be locked in one of the dressing rooms and we head to the playing ground. We are ready to start strong.
Mid-Season recruits:
BUL, under the management of comical coach, Frank ‘Video’ Anyau lingers in the relegation parameters – a push factor that propelled the club management to hit the January window market for players.
The managed to poach back Fred Agandu (right back) and Robert Achema from The Saints and Sadolin Paints respectively.
The duo had been released under unconvincing conditions during the reign of Alex Isabirye as coach.
Also, they have a new left back in Yesseri Waibi (from SC Villa Jogoo), former KCCA and Onduparaka speedy winger Farouk Kawooya and the assured fresh goalkeeping gloves of Brian ‘Ziggi’ Bwete, formerly of URA and lately Lweza.
Bul, too, signed goalkeeper Eric Dhaira (IBV), Asuman Alishe, David Bagoole, Patrick Ssembuya (loan – Vipers), Rasak Saheed Abiola, Villa Oromchan (URA) and Isaac Sserunkuma (Express).
Build ups:
In January, the club won their round of 64 stage match in the Uganda Cup against a FUFA Big League club, Kireka United courtesy of a strike by the age-less forward Yudah Mugalu.
Recently, BUL conducted a Kenya tour, playing three games against Chemili Sugar, Tusker and Tamale Pinto’s Morohoni Youth.
They overcame Chemilil Sugar 3-2, edged the reigning KPL champions Tusker 1-0 before falling short to Morohoni Youth 1-0 in the final build up.
All BUL’s matches on the tour were played at the Moi Sports Complex in Kisumu.
