After resting on Saturday and Sunday, KCCA FC returned to training on Monday morning in preparation for the return leg of their CAF Champions League preliminary round tie against C.D Primeiro de Agosto.
The training was conducted on the natural grass at Nelson Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
All the players apart from Jackson Nunda and Hassan Wasswa Dazo (still under rehabilitation from injury) took part in the full training session.
KCCA F.C assistant manager, Morley Byekwaso, as quoted by the club official website said of readiness for the team to travel in Angola and work for the positive result.
“We don’t want to take any chances, and the players know it to, and coming to Namboole is one of the ways to show how serious we are taking this game,” Byekwaso, assistant to Mike Mutebi noted.
KCCA F.C carries a slim 1-0 lead from the first leg played at the Phillip Omondi stadium last Friday.
Veteran striker Geoffrey Serunkuuma headed home the lone goal on the day in the 49th minute off a corner by second half substitute Brian Majwega.
