Uganda Cranes defender Isaac Isinde has joined Zambian club Buildcon on a year long lucrative deal, Kawowo Sports can exclusively reveal.
The 26 year old penned this deal with the newly promoted giants at their Ndola base on Tuesday evening, according to sources close to the player.
The club is however yet to publicize this signing, but is expected to do so in the next couple of hours.
Whist there was no signing bonus involved; we understand the former Victors and St George defender will pocket an estimated UGX150 million over the next 12 months in salaries, with a winning bonus of UGX 450,000 guaranteed for each competitive game he participates.
The player has also been offered a fully furnished house in Ndola according to reliable sources.
Isinde, who has been a mainstay within the national football team set up for the past three years, has been a free agent since his contract with the popular Addis Ababa top flight club expired last November.
He however turned out for Uganda Cranes at the Africa Nations Cup in Gabon.
Buildcon are believed to have seen off competition from other Zambian teams Napsa Stars and Power Dynamos, to secure Isinde’s signature.
Isinde is the only Ugandan plying his trade at this stage although reports point to Jimmy Bageya and striker Herman Wasswa as close to signing deals with a top Zambian club.
