Masavu recovered from a goal down to beat Sun City 4-1 in a Rwenzori Group FUFA Big League match played at the Katabi Gombolola playground in Entebbe.

Patrick Kusemererwa silenced a partisan home crowd with the opening goal after five minutes in a game played on a dampened sandy surface following the earlier rains in the lake side town and the surrounding areas.

Ddumba Sadala brought the game level in the 20th minute with a well executed free-kick from 30 yards.

Onesmas Andama made it 2-1 for the home side a minute later as the first half ended with Masavu in the lead.

Sadala returned with the third strike, his personal second on the day before a rare goal from forward Charles Odeke capped the icing on the already baked cake.

Odeke benefited from a school boy error by goalie Hakimu Nsamba with 23 minutes left on the clock.

The victory pushes Masavu on 37 points from 16 games with an epic clash against Mbarara City coming up this Saturday at the Kakyeeka Stadium.

The immediate FUFA Big League games come this Thursday.
